River City Online has enlisted the aid
of the Postini company to combat SPAM and
virii. This new feature scans each
incoming and outgoing e-mail to protect you
from the barrage of problems that SPAM and
virii cause. It also reduces the load
on our mail servers so that we can better
serve you.
You will receive messages from River City
to alert you that the Postini system has
captured either Junk or an infected
message. It will also include a link
so that you can view these messages
and check to see if something is being
stopped that you may want delivered.
Please note that while the staff of River City Online have every confidence in our new SPAM filter, we cannot guarantee that legitimate emails won't sometimes be inadvertently marked as SPAM. Also, not all mail that our users consider 'SPAM' will get marked as such.
